Module 6

Information regarding Module 6 in 2010:

Memo dated January 18, 2010

Module 6 ensures that, as a CASB student, you are well-prepared and confident when you challenge the UFE, drawing on knowledge gained in combination with the successful completion of prior modules and simultaneous work experience.

Module 6 is an evaluation module which allows you to assess your strengths and weaknesses and plan adequately to address any weaknesses prior to the UFE. You will gain a sound understanding of the new UFE evaluation methodology and the implication of that methodology to you, the CA candidate.

CASB Module 6 students will:

  • gain a good understanding of how to prepare and evaluate answers
  • have access to a comprehensive set of online resources to case writing skills, sample simulations and evaluation guides
  • have access to online resources for technical refreshers in critical knowledge areas.

Module 6 includes a number of evaluated practice responses and you will write a simulated UFE aimed at providing you with the confidence and understanding to approach the actual UFE - and succeed.
