Generally, course credits received more than ten years ago, and Tax course credits received more than five years ago, will not be accepted as prerequisites to the CASB program.
Students will be accepted into the CASB program with a four-year 120 credit hour degree or equivalent and a 65% average in the following prerequisites:

Business (three required) |

Assurance (one introductory course required) |

Finance (one
introductory and one intermediate required) |

Information
Systems and Technology (one intermediate course required; a second
intermediate
or advanced MIS course is highly recommended) |

Performance
Measurement (two intermediate financial accounting, one intermediate
managerial/cost accounting and one of accounting theory,
advanced financial accounting, advanced financial statement analysis,
advanced managerial/cost accounting or international accounting required) |

Taxation (one
introductory course covering both personal and corporate required) |
Students with undergraduate degrees may have completed most, some, or none of the CASB prerequisites as part of their degree studies.
Two programs are available which provide students with choices for flexible delivery options if they are completing CASB prerequisites:

All universities in the CASB region provide options for students to complete CASB prerequisites.

The prerequisite charts for each institution are posted by year. Students must complete their outstanding required courses under the most current equivalency chart. They will, however, still receive credit for discontinued courses they had previously taken when earlier versions of the equivalency chart were still in effect.
Course content and numbers may change. It is the student's
responsibility to confirm if the courses in which he or she is enrolled
are accepted as CASB
prerequisites.
