About CA School of Business

CASB delivers the education for prospective Chartered Accountants in Western Canada. Through a graduate-style education program, practical experience, and exposure to standards and ethics of the highest calibre, CASB students become 'business-ready' CAs.

CASB was formed in 2000 by the Alberta, British Columbia, Manitoba and Saskatchewan Institutes of Chartered Accountants. CASB oversees the education of CA students in those provinces and in the Northwest Territories, Yukon, and Nunavut.

Governance

We are governed by a Board. Our mission, vision, and values shape our direction.

Awards and Recognition

CASB recognizes outstanding students and facilitators, and students in Alberta and British Columbia can apply for awards from those provincial institutes' CA education foundations.

The top UFE writers each year are recognized on the national honour roll.

Contractor Opportunities

We are looking to expand the team of contractors who deliver the program, write and review student evaluations, and provide IT support during evaluations.

News

We publish a quarterly newsletter and post copies of announcements that we send to students and their employers. We publish UFE results in late November or early December.

Contacts

We have offices in Edmonton and Vancouver and you can contact us here.
